
EARTHLANTIS
Earthlantis is an underwater exploration game about picking up plastic, made with 4 other students. The design challenge was to make a game that raises awareness about plastic pollution for a target audience of choice (14-17 year-old teenagers in our case). My department in this project was music and sound design, but I also helped with making the terrain, discussing ideas, researching our target audience and playtesting.

Earthlantis was made over the course of 2 school blocks of 8 weeks each. During the first block we came up with ideas, researched our target audience, and made an early prototype which we had to present. In the second block, we made our prototype into a finished game from start to end.
We polished features that were already there, added new content, reconsidered and changed some aspects of the game and tested everything with our target audience for feedback. As a result, our project has gone through several iterations.
